FAQs

Who is the Resource Portal for?

The resource portal was created for a community of teacher educators and those in the education ecosystem. While these resources are primarily geared toward educator preparation program faculty and deans at Minority Serving Institutions, we hope others within the educational landscape will benefit.

What can I find on the Resource Portal?

You can find a full description of these resources here, but you’ll find everything from research publications to YouTube videos with helpful webinars about innovative pedagogies. We’ve even created slide deck templates that you can use within your practice.

Can I share what I download from the Resource Portal with a large group?

All resources that BranchED creates are available for download because we want you to share them. Just make sure you credit BranchED when you do.

I want to share these resources with a colleague, but they do not have an account. Can I still share these resources?

If they do not have an account and are faculty or deans at one of the MSIs listed on the registration form, we encourage them to create an account. If they are not, they can still register, but will go through a manual approval process. In the meantime, you can feel free to download the resources and share them that way.

How often are resources updated?

Our resources are updated fairly frequently. The BranchED team, its collaboratives and community want to get culturally relevant information out to the masses. We hope you check back often to find the latest information about equity-oriented practices in educator preparation.
