BranchED Framework for the Quality Preparation of Educators: A Diagnostic Tool Focused on Early Literacy

This asset-based early literacy diagnostic tool allows for Educator Preparation Providers (EPPs) to evaluate and reflect on their current level of performance in the context of literacy. This tool aligns to the BranchED Framework for Quality of Preparation of Educators and essential early literacy research, concepts, and skills. In addition, the document provides sample "look fors" on what a high-quality equity-focused early literacy EPP should look like.
