Vacancy Data Toolkit for EPPs and Partner Districts

Teacher shortages have and continue to plague many states throughout our nation, with school districts in high poverty areas and/or school districts that predominately serve students of color experiencing higher numbers of vacancies. This toolkit is intended for a team comprised of EPPs and their District Partners working together in efforts to align district teacher staffing needs and program completer certification areas, and co-creation of targeted recruitment efforts to meet those needs. The corresponding vacancy data tool is designed to look at three consecutive years of data and is available as an Excel Workbook. EPP and district data are entered directly into the workbook which automatically generates visualizations that highlight gaps and surpluses in selected concentration areas.
