Anti-Racist Mathematics Education with Young Learners

This toolkit begins with an overview of the importance of anti-racist mathematics teaching for early mathematics literacy and provides “steps” that early childhood educators can take, either individually or with others, to pursue teaching. Each step contains resources and questions for reflection.

BranchED seeks to support individual educator preparation programs (EPPs) and the field at large in reimagining and redefining “quality” preparation programs such that attention to issues of diversity and equity are explicit, embedded, and inextricably linked to high-quality performance.
